He moved a sessions court against the magistrate’s order, but his plea was rejected. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said that Gandhi is not worried about his post or government house, as he did not compromise on his principles even after risking everything. Party MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted that Gandhi’s exemplary gesture to move out of his official bungalow shows his respect for the rules.
